Business Visa
For a Belarusian business visa, a foreign visitor should submit the original letter of invitation from a company or organization in the Republic of Belarus that is registered by the Belarusian authorities as a legal entity. The letter of invitation must be printed on the official letterhead signed by a company executive and sealed by a corporate seal. The letter should indicate invitee's name, personal and passport details, purpose and expected duration of invitee's stay in Belarus. The inviting party should guarantee in writing that the invitee will abide by the rules and regulations applied to foreign citizens in the Republic of Belarus. In some cases Belarusian embassies or consulates (except the Consular office at the National Airport Minsk) may accept invitations transmitted by fax. Multiple-entry business visas require prior confirmation from the Consular Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
Visas are issued to authorize single, double or multiple entry. Visas are valid for the period indicated therein. When entering Belarus any foreign visitor should fill out and submit a migration card to the immigration officer . A uniform migration card covers both Belarus and Russia. All foreign visitors are required to have medical insurance issued by a Belarusian insurance agency or foreign agency that is contractually bound with a Belarusian agency to offer those services. Within 3 business days of the arrival in Belarus a foreign visitor should become registered with a local Citizenship & Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus. Foreign visitors staying in a hotel are normally registered during check-in. Under certain circumstances a guest or business visa can be extended up to 90 days. Where the visa has expired, exit visas are required for all foreign visitors intending to leave the territory of Belarus.
