To visit Republic of Belarus, citizens of the foreign countries should have a visa. There are several kinds of entrance visas to Belarus - private visa, tourist visa, business visa and others. There are two ways to open visa- easiest and hardest. Easiest - open TOURIST Visa (up to 30 days of stay) in the Belarusian National Airport Minsk on arrival. Hardiest - obtain a visa at Belarusian Consular Department.
In both cases you will need to get a special invitation from a Belarusian citizen or a tourist company. The most comfortable way of getting a visa for foreign citizens and organizations is to open a visa through a tourist company.
To get TOURIST visa in the Belarusian National Airport Minsk on arrival you should fill out visa request form, then we issue Belarusian Visa support documents and ship them to Airport Minsk and then you should arrive by plane to the Belarusian National Airport Minsk and obtain a visa inside here. This takes about 30 minutes.
Belarusian entry visas also could be issued by the embassies/consulates of Belarus in the countries listed bellow. Please remember that normally, visas are issued within 5-7 business days, there is also a possibility to get it urgently (during 48 hours) by paying double fee. Normal fee for Belarussian visa can vary from 40 to 180 USD. Visas for children under 16 are issued free of charge.
To apply for a Belarusian visa you must have a passport valid for at least six months after the proposed date of your departure from Belarus, and the passport must have at least one blank page.
