Do I need a Belarussian visa?
Visas are not required for:
- visitors with diplomatic, official, national passport of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan;
- visitors from Cuba, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Mongolia, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, and Venezuela;
- visitors with diplomatic, service or special passport of Argentina, Brazil, Hungary, India, Iran, Laos, Romania, Slovakia, Syria, Vietnam, Korea
- visitors with diplomatic, service or special passport of Egypt, Turkey;
- visitors from China (People's Republic) holding diplomatic, service passports, and national passports in case of group tourist visit;
- visitors from Poland holding diplomatic passports;
All other visitors to Belarus are obliged to have a Belarusian visa valid for the entire period of their stay in Belarus, even if they are only passing through. At present, Belarusian visas can only be obtained at Belarusian Consular Departments, except TOURIST Visa (up to 30 days of stay) which could be obtained in the Belarusian National Airport Minsk on arrival.

What is a visa to Belarus?
A visa to Belarus is a document allowing a foreign national to visit Belarus (and stay in the country) for a specific period. How much does the visa costs?
Belarussian visa is issued within 5 working days, there is also a possibility to get it urgently (during 48 hours) by paying double fee. Normal fee for Belarussian visa can vary from 40 to 180 USD. Visas for children under 16 are issued free of charge.
What type of Belarusian visa do I need?
Unless you are planning to stay in Belarus for longer than one month, then all you will need is a single-entry tourist visa, whatever the purpose of your trip.
